Dat Doc Beach is a small crescent shaped beach located 6 km north of Con Son town center. This beach is famous because it is where the super luxurious Six Senses Con Dao is located, far northwest of the main town. Half of the beach is only accessible to Six Senses resorts guests and the other half is public. Access via the resort may be restricted, but there is an obvious public access path to the left of the Six Senses main entrance (towards the airport).
Dat Doc Beach is a visually stunning beach as you can see a few of Con Dan’s islands from shore. To get hear head north along the main road that takes you to the Con Dao airport towards the Six Senses resort. Shortly after you pass the resort you will see a giant public access beach sign. Stop here and part your vehicle and head down the bank towards the beach. The beach is quite pretty, with white sand and surrounding mountains. Unlike the other beaches, it's also kept relatively trash-free. If you have the money, you can also pop into the Six Senses resort for a drink/snack and to use their sun loungers and/or restrooms.
